# astro telemetry enable

> Enable telemetry for the Astro CLI.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The behavior and format of this command are the same for both Astro and Astro Private Cloud.

Enable usage telemetry for the Astro CLI. Telemetry is enabled by default. See [`astro telemetry`](https://astronomer.io/docs/cli/v1.47/astro-telemetry) for what's collected.

## Usage

```sh wrap theme={null}
astro telemetry enable
```
