# astro telemetry disable

> Disable telemetry for the Astro CLI.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The behavior and format of this command are the same for both Astro and Astro Private Cloud.

Disable usage telemetry for the Astro CLI. You can also disable telemetry by setting the `ASTRO_TELEMETRY_DISABLED` environment variable to `1`.

## Usage

```sh wrap theme={null}
astro telemetry disable
```
