# astro logout

> This command is an alias for [`astro auth logout`](https://astronomer.io/docs/cli/v1.47/astro-auth-logout). The behavior and format of this command are the same for both Astro and Astro Private Cloud.

Log out of the Astro CLI. This command does not affect your current web browser login session in either Astro or Astro Private Cloud.

## Usage

```sh wrap theme={null}
astro logout
```
