# astro telemetry enable

> Enable telemetry for the Astro CLI.

<Info>The behavior and format of this command are the same for both Astro and Astro Private Cloud.</Info>

Enable usage telemetry for the Astro CLI. Telemetry is enabled by default. See [`astro telemetry`](/docs/cli/v1.46/astro-telemetry) for what's collected.

## Usage

```sh wrap theme={null}
astro telemetry enable
```
