# Subscribe to Astro Private Cloud release notes

> Subscribe to Astro Private Cloud release notes by RSS, email, or Slack.

Each Astro Private Cloud (APC) major version has its own release notes feed. You can receive RSS feeds directly, or updates can be sent to your email or Slack account. Each [APC release notes](https://astronomer.io/docs/astro-private-cloud/v-2-x/release-notes.md) page also has an RSS button at the top that links to its feed.

| APC version | Feed URL |
| - | - |
| 2.x | `https://www.astronomer.io/docs/astro-private-cloud/v-2-x/release-notes/rss.xml` |
| 1.x | `https://www.astronomer.io/docs/astro-private-cloud/v-1-x/release-notes/rss.xml` |

## Subscribe to RSS email updates

To have RSS feed updates sent to your email, use a browser RSS feed reader extension such as the [Chrome RSS Feed Reader](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/rss-feed-reader/pnjaodmkngahhkoihejjehlcdlnohgmp?hl=en).

> [!NOTE]
>
> Safari does not natively support viewing or configuring RSS feeds on Desktop or Mobile.

## Subscribe to Slack updates

To add a feed to a public channel, the Slack Primary Owner role might be required. To learn more about adding RSS feeds to Slack, see [Add RSS feeds to Slack](https://slack.com/help/articles/218688467-Add-RSS-feeds-to-Slack).

Run the Slack slash command for the APC version you use:

* APC 2.x release notes: `/feed subscribe https://www.astronomer.io/docs/astro-private-cloud/v-2-x/release-notes/rss.xml`
* APC 1.x release notes: `/feed subscribe https://www.astronomer.io/docs/astro-private-cloud/v-1-x/release-notes/rss.xml`

To use an RSS reader instead, add the feed URL from the command for your APC version.

## Subscribe to Astro CLI release notes

APC uses the Astro CLI, which has its own release notes feed. To subscribe, see [Subscribe to release notes](https://astronomer.io/docs/astro/release-notes-subscribe.md).
